2 DIFFERENT PEDAGOGIES ADAPTED TO THE NEEDS OF THE YOUTH

Both pedagogies (Life Project Center and Green Village) are designed to provide the necessary daily support for the Youth as they build their professional project, begin to recognize their individual qualities, and acquire professional skills and know-how. On graduating, the Youth will be well-prepared for finding, and keeping, decent work, thus improving their living conditions and those of their families. LP4Y, and in particular the Stars Clubs, continues supporting them in their professional integration. The "Life Project Center" and "Green Village" pedagogies both respond to local needs, by creating integration ecosystems co-constructed with young people, for young people, by bringing together private companies from all sectors, civil society organizations, public institutions and local government authorities.

Each Youth has specific responsibilities within the team, taking on increasing importance with the passing months.

MEIs are not designed to be vocational but are instead determined by the opportunities and needs of the local community.

Made 4 Change is a collection of products and services offered by the Youth of LP4Y through their micro-economic activity.

 LIFE PROJECT MONEY (LPM) 

 

The Youth each receive a weekly allowance, allowing them to escape extreme poverty and follow the program full time.

This allowance is designed to cover the Youths’ basic needs, enabling them to make the necessary savings so they can start their professional lives.

The Youth manage their savings with the support of the coach. LPM is a teaching tool with which the Youth learn to manage a personal budget, to save and to project themselves in the future.

THIS REPRESENTS TWICE THE POVERTY THRESHOLD BUT IS ALWAYS LESS THAN THE LOCAL MINIMUM WAGE.

IT PROVIDES THE MOST EXCLUDED YOUTH WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO FOLLOW PROFESSIONALIZATION TRAINING AND TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVES.

LP4Y is an international movement for the accompaniment of excluded Youth aged 17-24 towards professional and social integration
